I had to print some vinyl and my vinyl machine is at my moms because I just don't have that great of a computer to have everything hooked up here. So I got some toys out at her house to entertain Paxton. He loved these blocks for a little while anyway.
I was concentrating on the vinyl I was printing and the next thing I knew I looked up and he was gone so I ran to find him and sure enough he was crawling up the stairs. I haven't really tried letting him go up the stairs at my house because I have tile at the bottom and was worried he would get hurt. But he was going up them pretty fast and was smiling as he went. It was liking he was saying Ha mom look at me go. He doesn't crawl up the stairs though he actually lifts his leg and tries to walk up the stairs its kind of funny.

Happy Birthday Jamiee! We took my sister out to breakfast for her birthday. Paxton loved it and loves pancakes. I just cant believe how fast time is going and how big he is. Before I know it he is going to be 1 and I think I might have a serious melt down.

Playing in St. George

Paxton and I went to St. George over the weekend and left daddy and the dogs home. He slept in the car all the way there and all the way back. It was so relaxing being down there and it was also 70 degrees which was a plus. My grandma has this cute little truck for all the great grand kids to play in when they come and Paxton loved it so much.
He also thought it was great to crawl on the grass. He hasn't been outside on the grass because it has been too cold but down there it wasn't. But he did like to eat the grass and the rocks.
My Grandma also has this cute little tramp and he thought jumping on it was so cool. It was just really nice to get away for the weekend but Paxton was ready to come home. And its nice to get back to our routine and of course to see daddy who missed us a ton.

Trying to pack

I am trying to get ready to go to St. George this weekend and Paxton is far from helping. I was sitting in his room trying to pack his clothes and every time I fold something he picks it up and unfolds it and carries it across the room. He also thought it was fun to climb in and out of his suit case. I tried taking him out and putting clothes in the bag and then he still climbed in on top of the things. I love him so much but he is a little terror. So finally he crawled out of his room and next thing I know I come to check on him and he is in the kitchen and he has pulled everything out of two drawers and it is all over the floor. I guess my fault for not getting the locks on the drawers and cabinets.

Loving books

So I definitely am not getting the mom of the year award. Brandon and I have been remodeling the basement. Which has consumed all my extra time for the past two weeks. And poor Paxton has definitely gotten the shaft on that one. Thanks to my mom for so much time she has spent with him while I have been working on the basement. But finally Sunday morning I went into his room and was feeling really crappy that I haven't spent more time with him. So I sat down and got some of his books out and I started to read them to him but then he wanted to do it himself. I just love the top picture I cant believe how freaking cute he looks holding the book like such a big boy. I love him so much and I love how much he still loves me, even when I feel like I haven't been the best mom.

Old Friend, New Friend

This cute little dog stuff animal is Paxton's new friend. Little does he know that this used to be his friend when he was only six weeks old.
This dog was given to Paxton while he was in Primary Childrens Hospital. He had surgery when he was 6 weeks old on a muscle near his stomach. The Blaze football team came to the hospital the day he had surgery and was giving stuffed animals and footballs to the little kids in the surgery unit. And today when I was cleaning out Paxton's closet I found it. And he loves it a ton.

9 months and counting

OK so I don't have any idea where the last 9 months of my life has gone. I remember being pregnant for 9 months and 8 days(I just had to add the 8 days because I dont know if I will every get past the fact I had to go 8 days past my due date). Which definitely felt like a lot more than 9 months. But I cant believe Paxton turned 9 months a week and a half ago. I woke up this morning and decided that the weather was nice enough to start walking again. So I bundled him up and away we went. Now the weather has probably been nice enough for the last week but lets face it I have become lazy. I remember right after I had Paxton I walked everyday determined I was not going to be fat anymore. I lost the weight fast then got lazy again and the worst is trying to get myself motivated. Now I am not the best at being dedicated to going to the gym so I will start out slow and make myself walk on everyday that is nice. Because I love to walk, and maybe I will work myself up to running again but for that one I'm going to need a jogging stroller. So we will see..but in the mean time I can't imagine my life being any better. I have a great husband who supports me and the greatest little boy in the whole world.
